Most Qlik questions are routine: a failed reload, a user who needs access, or a minor change. We resolve them quickly. But we don’t wait for something to break. We review your Qlik Cloud environment every day so we can identify risks before they affect you.
A reload that failed overnight. An automation that stops halfway through. A new colleague who needs access to the right space. A filter that needs a slight adjustment. This is what most Qlik support work involves, and it doesn’t need to be complicated. Above all, it needs to be resolved quickly and properly by someone who knows your environment.
That last point makes all the difference. We don’t need to first figure out how your tenant is structured before we can get started. We know your apps, data models, and sources because we build and manage these same environments every day. An error message in a reload script or an automation that gets stuck because an API has changed isn’t a puzzle to us; it’s something we’ve seen before.
For us, support also means more than handling tickets. Is your own developer stuck on a data model, or are you unsure how to approach a new app? You can call us to talk it through. Half an hour of discussion can often prevent weeks of rebuilding.
Many problems come with warning signs. An API key that expires in two weeks. An app that is slowly approaching its memory limit. A data gateway nearing the end of its supported life. These are things you would rather spot before a user calls about them. That’s why we review your Qlik Cloud environment on a fixed schedule.
Some of these checks run automatically using our Qlik Tenant Check: a daily check covering license usage, consumption, data gateways, API keys and reload tasks, among other things. The results are classified so it is clear what needs immediate attention and what mainly needs to be monitored.
Our Qlik expertise comes from project work. We have been a Qlik partner since 2013, completed over 150 Qlik projects and train other advanced Qlik consultants at the Masters Summit for Qlik. You can read more on our Qlik Consulting page. The same consultants who build these solutions also answer your support questions.
You notice this most with questions that the documentation does not answer. Why a reload succeeds in one space but not another. Why an app suddenly uses twice as much memory after a seemingly harmless script change. Why a user has access to something they should not be able to access.
That same expertise determines how we respond to a signal. An expired API key requires a different follow-up than an app that is slowly approaching its memory limit. Not every warning requires action, but every warning does need to be assessed properly. Distinguishing between noise and a risk that needs to be addressed now is exactly where experience makes the difference.
And because we perform these checks for multiple customers, we see patterns. When we encounter a problem in one environment, we turn it into a new check that then runs automatically for all the others. What we discover for one customer today, we identify for another tomorrow before it becomes an incident there.
Are you bringing us a Qlik environment that someone else set up, or are you not entirely sure of its current state? We usually start with a Qlik Health Check: an assessment of your apps, data model, reloads, architecture and capacity usage, followed by a report and specific next steps.
It is not a mandatory step, but it is a sensible one. It prevents us from spending months addressing symptoms while the cause lies elsewhere. And afterward, you know exactly what you have in place.
Qlik support uses the same support packages as our other platforms: Starter, Booster and Premium, with fixed response times and a monthly allocation of hours. Starting at €950 per month. The full comparison, including add-ons for backup, technical updates and proactive monitoring, is available on our Support & Management page.
Not sure which package is right for you? We’ll look at the size of your environment and what you already handle yourself.
We’ll be happy to take a look with you and discuss what stands out, how urgent it is, and what the most sensible next step would be.
Yes. Most of our support work focuses on Qlik Cloud, but we also support QlikView and Qlik Sense Enterprise on-premises. On-premises environments require maintenance that Qlik handles in the cloud, such as releases, patches, and version upgrades. For this, we offer the Technical Updates add-on, which you can find on our Support & Management page.
Monitoring reports when something has gone wrong, such as a failed reload or a process that has stopped. Proactive support takes a broader view and identifies risks before they become incidents, such as an expiring API key or an app approaching a memory limit. One does not replace the other. Monitoring helps you respond quickly, while proactive support helps you spot potential problems earlier.
The proactive checks are part of our Proactive Monitoring add-on. Identifying issues is included in the add-on; if something actually needs to be resolved, that work is covered by your support hours. This is intentional: spotting a problem early almost always takes less time than fixing it after damage has occurred.
Yes, this is one of the most common situations. Your own team handles development, while we respond to incidents, manage the environment, and are available to discuss the best approach. Many of our support hours are spent advising internal developers rather than handling tickets.
Qlik Cloud offers only limited protection for deleted objects. Once something is gone, it is often gone for good. That is why we offer backups as a separate service, with daily backups of your apps and environment structure. If something is deleted, we restore the object and reload the data.
Yes. If an issue lies with Qlik itself, we investigate it, document the evidence, and escalate it to Qlik Support through our partner channel. You do not have to manage that process yourself.
Yes, we do this regularly. We usually start with a Qlik Health Check so both sides understand what we are taking over and the current state of the environment. After that, you receive the same support as any other customer.
Whether something urgent has gone wrong or you want to know if your environment is still healthy, Barry and Eric will be happy to advise you. Email us, call us, or schedule an appointment directly at a time that works for you.
