Support & Maintenance

Your data and analytics environment has to run every day. Reports need to refresh, users need access, and updates can’t keep piling up. We keep things running, so your team can stay focused on the work that depends on it.

Mitchel en Miranda

Keeping a data and analytics environment healthy takes time and attention. Things break, updates stack up, users need access, and before you know it you’re troubleshooting instead of analysing. Most support stops there: a ticket comes in, someone fixes it, and everyone moves on until the next one.

We work differently. Our support keeps your environment running, but because the same people who support it also build and advise on these platforms every day, we tend to see what’s coming before it becomes a problem. We’ve seen most situations before, which means we usually know where to look first.

That also means we’ll tell you when something isn’t a support matter at all, but a sign that something underneath needs attention. We’d rather flag that early than keep closing the same ticket every month.

Bitmetric Consultant at work

We support the data and analytics platforms we work with every day. The people answering your support questions are the same people who build these environments and advise on them, so we tend to recognise a problem before it grows.

Qlik

From reload tasks that quietly fail overnight to a tenant that fills up faster than expected, we know where Qlik environments tend to break, and how to keep them healthy.

Microsoft Power BI

Refreshes, gateways, capacity and access rights. The everyday friction that slows a Power BI environment down as more people start to depend on it.

Microsoft Fabric

A fast-moving platform where features arrive quickly and best practice is still settling. We help you keep your environment stable while it evolves.

TimeXtender

The integration layer your reporting sits on. When a load fails or runs late, the whole chain feels it, so this is where steady maintenance pays off most.

Whether you want a reliable safety net for everyday questions or a partner who takes on most of your environment, there’s a package that fits. Not sure which one? We’re happy to think it through with you.

Support hours cover incidents, service requests, minor adjustments, and the kind of quick sparring call where you just want a second opinion on how to approach something. Curious where support ends and a project begins? We explain that below.

Beyond the support packages, three optional add-ons cover specific needs. Each works a little differently, so here’s exactly what you get and how it’s billed.

Keeping an on-premises environment up to date takes deliberate work: new releases, security patches, version upgrades. With Technical Updates we handle that for you on a regular schedule, with hours set aside specifically for the job. This add-on is for on-premises environments. If you run fully in the cloud, your platform handles most updates for you, so you won’t need it.

Your apps and models are built with time and effort, and not every platform protects them out of the box. Qlik Cloud, for example, has very limited built-in backup, so if something is deleted, it’s gone. Backup is a separate service with its own cost, from 5 euro per day, billed outside your support contract. The hours it involves come out of the backup service, not your monthly support hours.

Instead of waiting for something to break, we watch your environment actively and step in when we spot a problem forming. Monitoring is a paid add-on, and when an issue does surface, the work to resolve it comes out of your support hours. That’s deliberate: catching a failing reload or a filling tenant early almost always costs less time than fixing it after it has caused damage.

1.

The people who support you also build and advise

Your questions don’t go to a separate support desk that only knows the basics. They go to the same consultants who build and advise on these platforms every day, so we recognise most situations because we’ve seen them before.
2.

Fast, dependable response

You know how much depends on your analytics environment, so you get quick, consistent answers with clear response times, not a ticket that disappears into a queue.
3.

Flexible, not locked in

Whether you need a steady monthly safety net or someone to take on most of your environment, the package fits your situation. And if it stops fitting, we adjust it rather than hold you to it.
4.

A partner, not a vendor

We don’t just close tickets. You can call us to think something through before you build it, a quick second opinion on how to approach a problem, not only when something is already broken. That’s the kind of support that keeps an environment healthy over time.

Certified Qlik partner since 2013, Microsoft partner since 2015 and TimeXtender partner since 2016.

Hours don’t roll over to the next month. A support package works a bit like insurance: you’re paying for guaranteed availability and a fast response when you need it, not for a set number of hours to use up. If you structurally use less than your package includes, the evaluation before each renewal is the natural moment to move to a smaller package that fits better.

That happens, and it’s not a problem. When you reach the end of your hours, we don’t simply stop; we discuss it with you. Any additional work is handled in consultation, at our regular consultancy rate, so you’re never surprised by what comes next.

A good rule of thumb: if we can do it within about two hours, it’s a small change and it falls under support. Anything larger, like a new dashboard or a significant expansion, is really a project, with its own planning and estimate. A quick sparring call about how to approach something is support too. Whenever a request crosses the line into project territory, we’ll tell you before we start, so the choice is always yours.

Yes. We support plenty of environments that were originally built by someone else. We do start with a short health check, so both sides know exactly what we’re taking on and where the environment stands. After that, you get the same support as everyone else.

In most cases, yes. We support Qlik, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and TimeXtender, and many of our clients run a combination of these. Because the same people support all of them, you don’t need a separate contract or contact for each platform.

We can usually get started within a few weeks. The standard contract runs for six months, with an evaluation before it renews. That evaluation is also the natural moment to scale up or down, so the package keeps matching what you actually need. No package is ever set in stone.
