Support & Management

Your data and analytics environment needs to keep running every day. Reports need to refresh, users need access, and updates cannot be left pending. We keep your environment running so your team can stay focused on the work that depends on it.

Milan en Lennard

Keeping a data and analytics environment healthy takes time and attention. Something breaks, updates pile up, users need access, and before you know it, you are spending more time troubleshooting than analyzing. That is where many support services stop: a ticket comes in, someone resolves it, and everyone carries on until the next problem.

We work differently. Our support keeps your environment running, but because the same people providing that support also build and advise on these platforms every day, we often spot potential issues earlier. We have encountered most situations before, so we usually know quickly where to look.

That also means we will tell you when something is not really a support request, but a sign that an underlying issue needs attention. We would rather flag it early than keep closing the same ticket every month.

Bitmetric Consultant bezig met support

We support the data and analytics platforms we work with every day. The people answering your support requests are the same people who build and advise on these environments. As a result, we often recognize problems before they become more serious.

Qlik

From reload tasks that quietly fail overnight to a tenant filling up faster than expected, we know where Qlik environments tend to be vulnerable and how to keep them healthy.

Microsoft Power BI

Refreshes, gateways, capacity, and access rights: exactly the day-to-day friction that slows down a Power BI environment as more people begin to rely on it.

Microsoft Fabric

A fast-moving platform where new features follow one another quickly and best practices are still evolving. We help keep your environment stable as the platform continues to develop.

TimeXtender

The integration layer your reports rely on. If a load fails or runs late, the entire chain feels the impact. That is precisely where proper maintenance pays off.

Support hours are intended for incidents, service requests, minor changes, and brief consultations when you want a second opinion on the right approach. Wondering where support ends and a project begins? We explain that below.

In addition to the support packages, there are three optional add-ons for specific needs. Each works a little differently, so below we explain exactly what you get and how it is billed.

Keeping an on-premises environment up to date requires focused work: new releases, security patches, and version upgrades. With Technical Updates, we handle this for you periodically, with hours reserved specifically for this work. This add-on is intended for on-premises environments. If your environment runs entirely in the cloud, the platform itself handles most updates, so you usually will not need this add-on.

Your apps and models were built with time and care, but not every platform protects them adequately by default. Qlik Cloud, for example, has only limited built-in backup capabilities. If something is deleted, it is often gone for good. Backup is a separate service with its own fees, starting at €5 per day, and is billed separately from your support contract. The hours required are covered by the backup service and therefore are not deducted from your monthly support hours.

Rather than waiting for something to break, we actively monitor your environment and step in when we see a problem developing. Monitoring is a paid add-on. If something actually needs to be fixed, that work is covered by your support hours. This is intentional: identifying a failing reload or a tenant nearing capacity early almost always takes less time than repairing the damage afterward.

1.

The people supporting you also build and advise

You do not get a separate support desk that only handles tickets. You get people who work with Qlik, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and TimeXtender environments every day.
2.

Fast, reliable answers

Clear response times let you know what to expect. No endless waiting—just practical help when you need it.
3.

Flexible, with no lock-in

Your environment changes. That is why we regularly evaluate whether your package still fits and can scale it up or down when it makes sense.
4.

A partner, not a vendor

To us, support is about more than closing tickets. You can also call us to discuss your ideas before you start building something or to get a quick second opinion on how to approach a problem. Not only after something has broken, but before it does. This helps keep your environment healthy over the long term.

Certified Qlik partner since 2013, Microsoft partner since 2015, and TimeXtender partner since 2016.

Hours do not roll over to the next month. A support plan works a little like insurance: you pay for guaranteed availability and a quick response when you need it, not for a fixed number of hours that must be used. If you consistently use fewer hours than your plan includes, the review before renewal is the logical time to switch to a smaller plan that better suits your needs.

That happens, and it is not a problem. We do not simply stop when you run out of hours. We first discuss what is needed with you. Any additional work is carried out in consultation with you at our standard consulting rate. That way, you always know what to expect in advance.

As a rule of thumb, if we can resolve it within about two hours, it is a minor change and falls under support. Larger pieces of work, such as a new dashboard or a substantial expansion, are projects with their own planning and estimate. A short session to discuss the right approach also falls under support. If a request is moving toward project work, we will tell you before we begin. The choice therefore always remains yours.

Yes. We regularly support environments that were originally built by someone else.
We usually start with a brief health check so that both sides understand what we are taking over and the current state of the environment. After that, you receive the same support as any other customer.

In most cases, yes. We support Qlik, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and TimeXtender, and many of our customers use a combination of these platforms. Because the same people support these platforms, you do not need a separate contract or point of contact for each one.

We can usually get started within a few weeks. The standard contract runs for six months, with a review before it is renewed. That review is also the logical time to scale up or down, ensuring that the plan continues to match what you actually need. No plan is fixed forever.
