Introducing Shared Automations

Qlik has rolled out Shared Automations, allowing teams to manage and execute automations within shared spaces. This update enhances collaboration, improves continuity, and ensures better control over access. Whether you’re working across teams or covering for unavailable colleagues, shared automations make it easier to keep workflows running smoothly.

New Direct Access gateway version (1.7.5)

The latest version of Qlik’s Direct Access gateway (1.7.5) brings enhanced flexibility with support for custom Windows service accounts during setup, improved troubleshooting with enriched logging, and expanded connector capabilities including User defined credentials for MongoDB and Google BigQuery. Additional performance and configuration improvements round out this release.

Updated editing experience

The sheet editing experience has been updated, replacing the standard edit mode with new edit mode that combines the former advanced edit mode with the new filters and data preview from standard edit mode.

Pivot table indicators

Qlik’s updated pivot table now supports indicators. This enables you to quickly add icons and colors to your measures based on thresholds. It’s a fast and intuitive way to make key values stand out, adding more clarity and impact to your visualizations.

Qlik Trust Score™ historization

Qlik now lets you track historical Trust Score™ data, giving you deeper insight into your data quality over time. Visualize trends by dimension, trace specific events that impacted your scores, and take targeted action to improve governance and data reliability.

Folder support for storage of prediction and experiment datasets

Qlik now supports folder paths for storing prediction and experiment datasets, making it easier to organize your machine learning outputs. Whether you’re defining filenames for batch predictions or exporting from Compare and Analyze tabs, you can now use dynamic naming and folder structures for better dataset management.

Evaluate app performance for on-premise apps in your cloud tenant

Qlik now allows you to evaluate the performance of on-premise Qlik Sense apps directly within your Qlik Cloud tenant. This feature helps teams test, benchmark, and optimize apps ahead of migration, making it easier to plan for hybrid environments and ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.

Security enhancements for Qlik Sense Mobile SaaS

Qlik has added new defense-in-depth security features to the Qlik Sense Mobile SaaS client, helping organizations meet compliance standards across mobile devices. If a device’s environment doesn’t align with security requirements, access may be restricted and alerts triggered—reinforcing a secure and compliant mobile experience.

Qlik Trust Score for AI-readiness

Qlik Cloud now includes new Trust Score dimensions to help organizations better evaluate the readiness and reliability of datasets for artificial intelligence. With added focus on diversity, accuracy, and timeliness, this update gives deeper insight into data quality, supporting more reliable AI outcomes and helping reduce the risk of bias.

Secured access to data sources using SSH tunnel

Qlik Cloud now supports SSH tunnel connections for customers who are not using the Data Movement gateway. This allows secure access to data sources behind firewalls while encrypting all data in transit. Supported connectors include MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.

New Straight table becomes default

The improved straight table is now the default option in Qlik Cloud, bringing enhanced features and a modern experience to your dashboards. The legacy table remains available but is marked as retired in the asset panel. Qlik recommends switching to the new version, with full deprecation planned for the future and communicated in advance.

Dedicated menu entry for data product management

Qlik Cloud has introduced a dedicated menu entry for data product management, now separate from the Data marketplace. This change improves clarity and usability for data product managers and sets the stage for future enhancements to the experience.

Reload-time variable updates and variable constraints

Qlik Cloud now supports reload time variable updates and variable constraints for Analytics apps. These features make it easier to enable dynamic behavior during reloads, automate deployments, and protect app logic by validating input. Ideal for multi-tenant and large-scale environments, this update brings more flexibility and control to your app workflows.

User experience improvements for the automation editor

Qlik has introduced new user experience improvements to the automation editor, making it easier to work with complex workflows. You can now collapse and expand blocks inside Loop and Condition steps, improving readability and navigation in large automations.

PixelPerfect template editor improvements

Qlik has improved the in app PixelPerfect template editor with new features that streamline the report design experience. Autosave is now enabled by default, saving your work every 30 seconds, and new image sizing controls give you better control over how Qlik visuals appear in your reports.

HTML reports for the inbox!

Qlik now supports HTML reports, allowing report developers to create custom analytics reports directly in the email body using an in app HTML editor. These reports can also be attached to emails or saved to a file store, offering flexible options for sharing insights.
