Customers who are using Qlik Data Gateway – Data Movement need to upgrade to 2025.11.23 or later to benefit from these improvements. For upgrade instructions and a list of resolved issues, see Upgrading the Data Movement gateway installation.

The Parallel Load feature now supports Databricks target.

Replicating dataset segments in parallel

The attrep_ddl_history (DDL History) control table contains a history of DDL changes that occurred on the source during replication to the target.

The following target endpoints are now supported:

  • Google BigQuery
  • Google Cloud Alloy DB for PostgreSQL
  • Google Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL
  • PostgreSQL (on-premises)

DDL history

When using Change Tables with Parquet format, the header column [header]__change_mask now pads zeros to the left (instead of the right), to align with the little endian rule of storing bytes in reverse order.

Affected target endpoints:

  • Amazon S3

  • Google Cloud Storage

Change Tables

  • Kafka target: 4.0.x

  • IBM z/OS source: 3.2

  • Microsoft ODBC Driver 18.5
  • MySQL 8.4

Support for Microsoft Azure Database for MySQL and Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL, which have been officially retired by Microsoft, has been discontinued.

  • Databricks target: 10.4 LTS and 11.3 LTS

  • MariaDB source and target: 10.5

  • PostgreSQL source and target: 13.x

  • MySQL source and target: 8.1

  • Microsoft ODBC Driver 18.3
