Marco van Barneveld joins Bitmetric as Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

We’re happy to announce that as of December 1st Marco van Barneveld joins Bitmetric as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant.

“I’ve spent the last 25 years working with various databases and reporting systems. I discovered QlikView over 12 years ago and have used it nearly continuously since then.
I believe it is difficult to extract information from databases in a way that pleases the end user. Of course, fast and clear dashboards are part of it, and Qlik can do exactly that. “

During his free time, Marco enjoys spending time outside in nature. This may involve going sailing or hiking, and he would ideally bring his camera. When he is at home, one of his closest companions is the electronic reader he keeps on his desk. His electronic reader is loaded with a huge number of books spanning a wide variety of categories.

Asked why he decided to join Bitmetric, Marco said:

“Within the Qlik industry, Bitmetric is a well-respected and well-known company. I am of the opinion that there is no other company in the Netherlands that has as much Qlik knowledge and experience as Bitmetric, which was an important factor in my decision to become a member of the team.”
