29 August 2023 Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows – Critical Security Fixes Share this message Two security issues in Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows have been identified and patches made available. Details can be found in Security Bulletin Critical Security fixes for Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows (CVE-2023-41266, CVE-2023-41265). Qlik has released five services releases today to patch these issues. All versions of Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows prior to and including these releases are impacted: May 2023 Patch 3 February 2023 Patch 7 November 2022 Patch 10 Augustus 2022 Patch 12 The August 2023 IR that was released today already contains the fix. This issue only impacts Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows. Other Qlik products including Qlik Cloud are NOT impacted. Access control governs user capabilities, with all users now considered Full Users. Auto-assignment toggles in Settings are removed, and users can be granted roles via Manage Users. Existing access control configurations remain unchanged, but you may need to adjust roles to support tenant features.
