26 August 2025 Table Recipe: Interactive playground for single-table data preparation Share this message Qlik Cloud Analytics introduces Table Recipe, a lightweight, spreadsheet-like experience for preparing single-table datasets. This interactive playground is designed to make quick, no-code data manipulations accessible to everyone, while providing instant visual feedback. Every table recipe is a sequence of steps, giving you a structured and repeatable way to apply operations on your data. Key highlights: Familiar spreadsheet-like interface for simple, single-table data preparation. 60+ no-code functions for cleansing, standardizing, converting, splitting, masking, and formatting data. Built-in column profiling and filtering to quickly inspect, explore and refine your data. Flexible usage options: Standalone table recipe: Create a recipe as a catalog asset, apply steps from one source to one target, and run or schedule your output. Ideal for simple, single-source to single-target use cases. Embedded in a data flow: Use a table recipe as a processor within a larger data flow for intermediate or mixed use cases, combining multiple sources, targets, or more complex processors within the same flow. Platform integration: Like apps, scripts, and data flows, standalone table recipes can be run and scheduled. They are fully integrated into Analytics activity centers, leveraging spaces, lineage, and impact analysis for governance. With Table Recipe, Qlik Cloud now combines spreadsheet-like simplicity with platform-level governance, extending the reach of self-service data preparation for analytics and AI.
