5 oktober 2022 Qlik Set Analysis – Outer Set Expressions Deel dit bericht Every Friday at Bitmetric we’re posting a new Qlik certification practice question to our LinkedIn company page. Last Friday we asked the following Qlik Data Architect certification practice question about Set Analysis, which was really about the new Outer Sets syntax: This was somewhat of a trick question, as we included two right answers: The correct answers are B (Outer Sets) and C (regular approach) Answer C was the most correct answer up until recently, and probably still is the correct answer on the Qlik certification test until they are updated. Now however, there is a new Set Analysis syntax: Outer Sets. This makes answer B the new best answer. The attendees at the Masters Summit for Qlik in Madrid already got a sneak peek at Outer Sets a few weeks ago. The general announcement to the world was done by Qlik’s Henric Cronström in his New Set Analysis syntax blog post. We’re very excited about this new syntax, as it’ll make all our lives a lot easier! Learn more about Outer Sets Typically in our question follow-up blog posts, we’ll go into a little (or a lot) more detail on the particular concept, function, feature or subject that being covered in the question. This time though, we’ll point you to two posts that already explained it very well: New Set Analysis syntax by Henric Cronström Outer Sets bring new reusability by Rob Wunderlich That’s it for this week.
