17 March 2026 Block Request Timeout Increase for Qlik Automate from 55 Seconds to 5 Minutes Share this message We have extended the maximum wait time for API requests within automation blocks from 55 seconds to 5 minutes. Previously, any third-party system that took longer than 55 seconds to respond would cause the block to fail. This was a common issue for automations that integrate with AI models that may require more time to reason and return a result. This change significantly improves reliability for those use cases.
