23 September 2025 Evaluate large app performance in Qlik Cloud Share this message You’ve been using the App Performance Evaluation tool to measure and compare how your apps perform—but now it works with Large Apps too! As your apps grow, so does the importance of knowing what’s happening inside them. With this new capability, developers can pinpoint performance bottlenecks in charts, sheets, and KPIs—even in the biggest apps—so they can deliver the fastest, smoothest experience possible. Evaluations on Large Apps consume Large App reload capacity—ensuring there’s no impact on users actively working with those apps. You can run evaluations directly from the activity center, through Qlik Automate, or via the Qlik Cloud APIs. Sneak peek: Soon you’ll also be able to choose the compute environment for an app. This choice is persisted—meaning the selected engine will be used for both performance evaluations and your users’ everyday experience. You’ll be able to test, compare, and fine-tune on different engine sizes, then let your consumers enjoy the improved performance too. App performance evaluation How can we help?
